[MD] Words and Metaphysical Mysticism.

I believe it is important to distinguish between the scientific method
and its results. When one speaks of purposes, one can be referring to
the methods, or one can be referring to results. The scientific
method, itself, is a manner of investigation which follows certain
guidelines.

One can certainly claim that this method is bad, or sometimes bad, but
then one is claiming that the manner in which we partake in existence
as humans is bad. The scientific method is directed towards making
patterns of the physical world in a meaningful way. Metaphysics is
directed towards creating patterns of the non-physical in a meaningful
way.

As presented by Horse, Science infers the method (if I correctly
interpret what Horse is saying), and I believe we can consider this to
be good. What results from this method is a completely different
subject, and does not fall within the purview of Science, but instead
is a function of human goodness.

If one vilifies science, then one vilifies human participation in the
ever-appearance of creation.

Scientism is a belief system which suffers from the same problems as
other religions. That we would consider Bohr to be strong constituent
of metaphysics is up to us.
