I guess we just have to accept the fact that we are not going to agree on 
this point. I follow Sam Harris in thinking that the moderates are a big 
part of the problem insofar as they give cover to the extremists and/or ask 
the critics to take it easy on the extremists. This is why your attempts to 
play things down the middle bug me so much. I mean, what exceptions do you 
think I should be listing in this conversation? Unless you can identify and 
describe a version of theism that would be acceptable in the MOQ, you're 
just not helping. Otherwise you're just telling me that some Christians are 
perfectly nice people, which is something everybody already knows.
