consciousness (= the huge body of common knowledge) as cells are to the

Its an analogy that only goes halfway. If it was simply a matter of our
individual minds working collectively to form a collective consciousness,
that would be one thing. But our minds do more than create this thing
passively, our minds also assimilate it. They both create (collectively) and
contain the collective patterns so described.

When we are talking about a collective consciousness are we talking about a
psychic friends hotline here or language? Do we need ESP or elementary
education to access it?
