Hey Jos, david et all

I have always found bacon to be rupulsive.  The hardest thing for me to 
quit, was sushi.  rare-beef noodle soup (viet) was also difficult because it 
is great when your sick, and is very economical.


David i think thats great. if most people would do so, then it would free up 
massive quantities of grains to feed people who need food.


As for Halal meat, the only difference is really the way they killl it.  
Halal and Kosher are interchangeable (yes, it is acceptable for jews to eat 
halal).  It just means that they slit the throat of the animal while it is 
concious.
