The hoax was very low value.  Why should either a  website or a person 
attach to it?

When you say, 'hoax' i am not sure if you mean the hoax qua hoax or the  
paper itself?
If you mean the paper, it's value is ambiguous:
'The paper makes a good argument that the MOQ perceives the world
