[MD] "The Girl in the Cafe"

I asked my wife what she thought of the movie:

"It was a quiet movie. A typical British movie. They all have that same feeling to them. It wasn't a bad movie. They all have that same feeling."
I asked her if she had any other comments about it. She said, "no".
I asked her what "feeling" she meant. She said, "It is a quiet feeling. Their movies are left unfinished it seems. The characters are quiet and the story has simple themes. The man and woman in the cafe and they keep drinking coffee or tea. They sleep together for the first time, and that first kiss. The simple events. Not like American movies where they have to stop a speeding bus cause there is a nuclear bomb on it. Their (the British) movies are more about relationships."

I've seen her watch a lot of those British based movies, and I asked her, "I thought you like those kinds of movies (which above she does say 'It wasn't a bad movie.')." She said, "Ah, I do like those kinds of movies, but this one I wasn't into that much."
