Well not "rules as in strictures" but more like "rules of creation"  Rules
as in one thing follows another along this particular pattern.  Observing
that pattern is what leads to the creative formulations we call rules, but
you might as well call dancing, "following the rules".  I mean, it is, but
why think of it that way?

I don't create Truth by following rules.  I create rules by following the
Truth.  My intellectual formulations which take a sort "cause and effect"
aspect are developed by observing truly, and testing faithfully, and holding
fast to that which is good.

I don't create Love by following the rules.  I make rules because I love.

I don't make Laws by following the rules.  I create rules to enforce what I
know in my heart, and get others to agree with me, is actually the Law.

Well I certainly agree that following the rules which keep me unshackled and
out from behind the cell doors, do certainly give us more freedom.  (think
metallic latch here)

Well as an idealist, who believes in mind over matter, since I don't mind,
it doesn't matter.

Caring is creative of reality, doncha know.  It's all in the book.

Making up my own rules is perfectly, evolutionarily permissible, as long as
they're better rules than the ones I've been given.   Or as Anjin-San said
to Toronaga, "The only permissible rebellion is the one that wins."

That's my story, I'm stickin' to it.

And everyday, it's just begun.
