That static quality 'responds' to DQ doesn't change the fact that DQ is undefined. For if new ideas don't come from DQ where do they come from?
Consciousness is some thing which is able to change patterns and make them better. Of course once we recognise anything is better it is static quality and no longer the source of all things.
