Like you said, no rush.  Take your time.
  
Interesting situation.  I mean addressing the question -- why do some
people value in that which says value is the source of all things? -- and
then finding yourself at a fork in the road.  It's an interesting picture.
  
I'll mention The Wizard of Oz again.  Have I told you that it's my favorite
movie?  I think it's a beautiful description of how people find meaning in
their lives.
  
The interesting picture...reminds me of Dorothy's first encounter with
the Scarecrow.  He couldn't decide which way was the best way so he
pointed to both ways.
  
Pirsig wrote that Quality is the source of all things but that man is the
measure of all things.  So meaning for one person may be nonsense
to another.  What's a person to do?  How is a person to choose?
  
These sound like simple questions.  But they're really at the heart of
what it means to live a life of quality.  For me this means being honest,
aware, compassionate and loving and remembering that I'm never alone.
