[MF] MOQ: valuable or not?

Hi Steve, and any worried lurkers,

Don't get too worried about the bickering. I've been subscribed to MD
for about a year, and I can assure you that the nastiness is nothing
new - it turns up sporadically. About a month after I subscribed, I
was saying something similar to what you just said - basically, a plea
for respectful debate in order to keep the discussion "on track"
without getting sidelined by insults. I don't think I ever rolled out
the "more heat than light" cliche :-) I guess that even the
visionaries need to keep warm.

The thing to realise is that most of the animosity goes back much
longer than you or I have been subscribed to MD, and MD has always
survived it. I don't like conflict much, either. But we can live with
it.

Regards,
Mike
